We are very proud of Caprilli’s Don Giovanni - Roly who qualified for Crufts at his very first show by taking a first place in puppy class. He proceeded to take a third place in the Junior class at the BDC Champ show, had a long showing break as he is a “Pet” and was only taken to shows by his owner to do me a favor. His next show was Crufts 2007 where he achieved an excellent third place in the Special Yearling class and therefore qualified himself for Crufts 2008!
It is unlikely that he will be presented in the Ring again BUT I am so grateful to Cathy and her family that they keep him in such super condition and went through the trouble of driving him to these shows for me. I am sure he could go far but I am just as certain that he will have a great life with his family.
Here is what judge Malcolm Smith had to say about him at Crufts:
3rd MRS C PRESLAND - CAPRILLI'S DON GIOVANNI Well made in substance & bone and well presented in super hard condition. Handler had to work hard to present his sound attributes on the move.
